Selecting a Weekend Mix is no small order. You have to strike a balance, take your listeners weekend motivations into account, the vibe in the air, the undercurrent of society. And it can't be all House, Techno, Hip Hop choices, sometimes you gotta flip the script, take a chance and go for broke.

This week, I've been on a binge for classics, from old Thievary Corporation, Massive Attack, and yes, even Classical such as in Beethoven, Mozart, Chopan. Of course, that won't cut it here (unless it's remixed into a dance tune) so what to do? That's when I came across this mix by Remedy. It's a nice smooth mix of funky beats, Dubstep, and Hip Hop. After listening to it, I realized he named it Windy, and if you're in the North East like I am, the title is very apropo, as a Nor'easter is coming in (that's a storm for those from abroad).

Anyway, this is a great mix to listen to while you prep for your weekend adventures or to sit back and vibe to while you watch the storm roll through. Yeah, it's a hard job but, it's worth it when you find mixes like this. Enjoy!
