Now, you might be thinking; Latino+DJ+Miami must equal Reggaeton, maybe some Salsa, or most likely some Latin House. Well, you'd be wrong on all counts. Our man Acosta's falvor of choice is Trance. It's not often that you come across a Latino DJ spinning Trance, making Acosta somewhat of a rarity. That alone doesn't get the man nominated however, nor does the fact that he's Latino and it helps us fullfill the angle of this piece, the man is actually really good.

A true master of the craft, Acosta is a 2007 winner of Pioneer's America's Best DJ award, a label owner, a busy producer and remixer, a savy business man, and radio host.
